Once upon a time in the building of this hotel is Hotel Great Eastern, which in 1884 built a British architect, Charles Barry is the same one who designed Big Ben and the Houses of the British Parliament. The building is a historical monument, so any drastic alterations to the external appearance is not even out of the question. All major changes have taken place inside. On the design of the hotel worked a whole team of architects and designers from around the world. In interior design, Halls and corridors of the hotel are decorated with works of art created by British artist Daphne Talmor, Stuart Croft, Heiko Teymanom Dutch, and Swedish artist Eva Shtenram. All 267 rooms are decorated in a sleek and elegant with a hint of art deco and classical music. Calm saturated hues surfaces well with a pleasing textures of furniture and accessories.
