Built in 2003 this Stunning Cutler Residence located in Montauk, New York was designed by Murdock Young Architects. This house is called as the Cutler Residence, this house is such a contemporary cliff-side home overlooking Block Island Sound, with breathtaking forest and Atlantic Ocean views stretching as far as the eye can see. The client asked the architect to design a house with a minimal impact on the pristine landscape, maximum exposure to the views and all the amenities of a year round vacation home.
This house is designed with most of the natural vistas, great glass walls and lots of outdoor entertaining areas, both on the main and upper levels. The facade of this wood clad house blends beautifully with the lush, green landscape (and to keep its surroundings green, the architects designed this vacation home in such a way as to make a minimal impact on the environment). The contemporary shape of the house is matched by its modern, minimalist interiors, made to promote relaxation and socialization with family and friends. The outdoor living areas, including a backyard pool, offer lots of space for alfresco living.
