The architects of the Russian architect’s «Arch-group» and the French studio Garden Sarlat have won an international competition for design of the Russian Orthodox Church and Cultural Center near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. On the territory of cultural and spiritual center of Russian Orthodoxy will be divided into a large park, which will be enclosed by glass walls with multimedia screens. The project authors have tried to enter a traditional church architecture in the modern context. The Part of the park will be shaded glass canopy, coupled with the stone building a cultural center and a church with five golden domes. Due to the shed, which is as it ties together the religious and secular, the project takes on integrity. Exterior view of the complex should create a positive public image of Russian Orthodoxy, and to awaken in people of all ages interested in the Russian spiritual culture.
